"Paysage, soleil couchant" is a broad, oval-shaped beaker. It is made of overlaid glass, colorless, with red, yellow, blue, and green powdered inclusions, as well as deep violet (black) and dark green enamel smeltings. The decor is executed in multiple steps, etched and designed in a shadowy silhouette-like manner, depicting a landscape with a stand of trees illuminated by the setting sun. It is signed "DAUM NANCY" in connection with the Lorraine cross. Height: 16.8 cm. This French Art Nouveau cameo glass vase by Daum Frères showcases an acid-etched landscape at sunset. It is signed and originates from France, Nancy, Daum Frères. Created around 1911-1913.
