Colorless, salmon-pink undertone, lightly marbled glass, composed of two cross-shaped or bird-shaped decorative elements made of fused violet pieces of broken glass. Engraved signature "E Gallé Nancy" on the underside. Height 35 cm. There are very few comparable objects in the oeuvre of Emile Gallé in terms of this production and decorative technique, as well as the art of glass. They serve as samples for studio work and studio pieces "demiriche" (cf. Hilschenz-Mlynek / H. Rick, Catalogue Collection Hilschenz, No. 215 ff., in particular No. 220).
