With silver lid and handle, broad, ovoid shape. Overlay glass, colorless, light green and red. All-around, etched and polished decorative surface with Anemone motifs, executed in multiple work processes and finished with fire or acid polishing. Japanesque signature "Gallé". Silver-mounted rim, the slightly curved lid with corresponding, embossed and chiseled Anemone decoration, curved, hinged handle in linear stylized leaf form. French Minerva head fineness mark for 950 silver and maker's marks of Saglier Frères, Paris. Height 14 cm (with lid). A French Art Nouveau cameo glass candy dish by Emile Gallé with silver lid and handle by Saglier Frères. Signed by Gallé, French Minerva head 950 standard mark and Saglier Frères maker's mark.
