Silver, gilded. Over a flat, slightly concave base, a rounded body expands in a bulging manner with a smooth surface. The profiled, curved lid is divided and adorned with three ball feet, usable as a plate. On the exterior of the wall and on the lid, there is an engraved coat of arms under a margravial crown. The side handles are gracefully curved and intricately crafted. Gilded on the inside. Created by the esteemed master, possibly Philipp Jakob I Holeisen (became a master in 1695). Weighs approximately 360 grams. Height is 6.5 cm, diameter is 13 cm. Compare with Seling 2007, number 1897, BZ 0960. A German Baroque lidded gilt silver bowl, probably made by Philipp Jakob I Holeisen (master since 1695), with an engraved coat of arms under a margravial crown. Gilded on the inside. Tested, assayed, and marked by the master. Made in Augsburg, Germany. From the late 17th century.
