Silver. Over a flat base, spherical, curved, smooth body, surrounded by wavelike, delicate, vertical ridges. Hinged lid with a fully plastic knob in the shape of a pomegranate, surrounded by leaves and buds. Centrally attached, conical, tube-shaped casting with rocaille surrounds and hinged pouring spout cover. Curved, overlapping hinged handle with a central, baluster-shaped wooden grip. Engraved and gilt monogram "K S" (?). Signed, tremolo stroke, inspection marks, master Jakob (Johann) Wilhelm Kolb (became a master in 1768). Weight approximately 1040 g. Height 24.5 cm.
