Silver. Oval, curved base, transitioning into a short shaft and boat-shaped, deeply molded bowl. The base adorned with rocailles, C-curves, flowers, and lattice work. The body embellished with elongated oval medallions. Within them, the depiction of a farmer and a farmer's wife amidst architectural and arboreal landscapes, feeding the cattle and working in the fields. Exhibited border with embossed dedication inscription and date, 1823. Intricately crafted, horizontal handles. Engraved, signature mark, Pieter Schmitz (active since 1812), initial "K".
