Silver. Over a rounded, curved base, baluster-shaped corpus, encompassed by curved lines. High, curved, ornamental pierced work, topped with a small baluster knob. Created by Master Wilhelm Conrad Josef Lameyer (became a master in 1837). Weighs approximately 190 g. Height is 18 cm. See Scheffler, Lower Saxony, Volume 2, Number 162, MZ 1487. A German Baroque style silver sugar caster by Wilhelm Conrad Josef Lameyer (master since 1837). Standard mark 12 lot, master's mark. German. Hanover. Around 1840.
