Silver. Four voluted, leaf-decorated feet, transitioning into a rectangular, centrally wide chamfered body. The surface is adorned with a decorative Chinoiserie motif, covering the entire area. An ornamental keyhole with a well-crafted key. Ascending hinged lid, centrally crowned by a fully sculpted representation of a dog. Engraved dedication inscription "The city of Crossen, its mayor Lorenz, on September 26th, 1848," as well as the applied coat of arms of Crossen on the Oder. From 1845 to 1888, the chamber court assessor Carl Lorenz was the mayor of Crossen. Weight approximately 470 g. Height 16 cm. 17.5 cm x 12.5 cm.
