With silver mounting. Square, profiled stand with recessed corners, weighted. At the base of the shaft, there is a molded groove, transitioning into a tailored, multi-segmented baluster shaft. On top of it, the silver-mounted, two-part cup is crafted from a detachable ostrich egg, flanked by two biblical figures. The crowning knob takes the form of a Roman warrior with armor, sword, helmet, and lance, over a stylized displayed leaf wreath. The stand and tall baluster shaft are decoratively set with amethysts, peridots, and red jasper in smooth settings. The inside of the egg is gilded. Marked; made in 800 silver. Height 50 cm.
