Faience. Baluster form. Wide splayed foot, spitzoid body, set neck with a short snout. Stylized floral and ornamental decor in cobalt blue. Manufacture mark. German. Restored. Pewter mounting and lid with shell thumbpiece. Additional foot mounting. Height 28.5 cm. A South German, probably Künzelsberg, pewter-mounted blue and white faience pitcher. Factory mark. Pewter mounting to the foot replaced. Künzelsberg. 1745-1765.
