Colorless, lightly grayish glass. Rising foot with a break, articulated baluster stem with inserted air bubble, the shaft and attachment of the bell-shaped cup partially facetted. Matte cut decoration, on the front side a bird sitting on a tree stump between large tulips, above it an inscription: "I sing my song". Matte lip rim. Height 22 cm. A Saxon or Thuringian glass goblet with an engraved bird between tulips and a motto as an allegory of love. Middle German. Saxony or Thuringia. 18th century.
