Sterling silver. The stand (rechaud) features three narrow twisted legs adorned with a central burner and a delicate gadrooned rim above cork ornamentation. The kettle, resting on a short round base with a spherical body, has smooth sides with finely engraved leaf and gadrooned decoration. The flat, hinged lid is topped with an oval wooden handle.
