Sterling silver. The rechaud, with three narrow, voluted, shell-like feet, is adorned with a central burner and a narrow gadroon band over pierced rocaille work. The kettle, on a short, round stand with a spherical body, features a smooth wall with delicately engraved leaf and rocaille decoration. The flat hinged lid is crowned with an ovoid wooden knob.
