"The Galloping Elephant" is a fully sculptural depiction of a galloping, trumpeting African elephant with its trunk raised. The bright blue paint is complemented by shades of gray, black and salmon-pink. Created by Karl Tutter in 1939, it has undergone minimal restoration; the piece bears the manufacturer's mark and measures 31 cm in height. It has undergone minor restoration and bears the Selb Hutschenreuther manufacturer's mark. It is dated to the mid-20th century.
