Description

Silver. Oval shape with a smooth surface. The outer edge features rope filigree in the form of curved tendrils with delicate, relief, three-leaf clover leaves and a narrow hidden rim. On both sides are two symmetrical curved handles for comfortable grip. Signature and assay mark of the master, Georg Christian Friedrich Temmler (master since 1796). Weight approximately 1600 grams. Height: 7.5 cm. Dimensions: 42 cm x 30 cm. Compare with works by Selig, 2007, BZ 2890 f, No. 2638. Silver tray from the German Empire by Georg Christian Friedrich Temmler (master since 1796). Stamped with assay and master's mark. Germany, Augsburg, 1805 – 1806.
