Description

Silver. The body is supported by three legs with a smooth mirror finish. An upward, floral wavy rim. Minimal signs of age-related wear. Inscription, delicate movement, assay marks, former letter 'G', Master Johann Nikolaus Wolleberg (became master in 1759). Weight approximately 270 g. Diameter 24.3 cm. Compare with the German National Museum catalog, volume I, part 1, MZ 991, BZ 43, VB 13. A small Nuremberg baroque silver plate by Johann Nikolaus Wolleberg (master since 1759). Test, assay, inspector's and master's marks. German. Nuremberg. 1789–1793.
