Description

Silver. The silvery, ascending pedestal in the form of a tube is adorned with balustrade and faceted elements, ending in a fully plasticized stylized volute. Two tiers of deep cast plates of different sizes are attached to it. The rim and sides are accentuated with curved lines. Inscription and maker's mark – Elias II Jaeger (awarded master status in 1709). Weight approximately 300g. Height 13 cm. Compare with Seling's work from 2019, BZ 1960. Small German Baroque silver etagere by Elias II Jaeger (master since 1709). Assayer's mark and maker's mark. German. Augsburg. 1745-1747.
