Ohlau Baroque Silver-Gilt Schnapps Glass by Master Johann Gottfried Horn the Elder, circa 1730

Silver, partially gilt. Above a prominent round base rises a high conical body. The lower part of the wall is decorated with relief molded lanceolate leaves. Beneath the rim is a finely engraved band on the striking surface. Gilded interior. Developed with a resonant sound, assay mark, master Johann Gottfried Horn the Elder (became a master in 1714).
