The luxury items of the iconic Italian-Swiss company Ghiso could now be found in the most prestigious jewelry stores in the world. This name is not widely known among the general public. The Ghiso brand has no need for modern advertising, winking or currying favor with customers. People who can afford to purchase a Ghiso piece pay no attention to advertisements, do not watch television, but possess the most valuable human quality – the art of conversation. Usually, they belong to the most highly educated part of the elite and are very knowledgeable. They know, for example, that the ebony statuettes decorated with gold and diamonds were made by Jean-Jacques Ghiso's father in his Argentine workshop a hundred years ago. At the dawn of the last century, there wasn't a wealthy person in Argentina who didn't visit "the Italian." That was how this master craftsman was reverently called.

Jean-Jacques Ghiso continued his work in Paris. Ladies' jewelry boxes, snuff boxes, cufflinks and jewelry, stands for unusual items that do not follow the classical canon but are beautiful in their own right, as well as small sculptures, were created with such vivid creative flair that they quickly attracted the lively interest of the French high society. But the Second World War crushed Jean-Jacques himself and his shops in Buenos Aires and Paris in its mill.

Today, Ghiso continues its history with an Italian chapter. These are again works of high art, including pieces of fine jewelry, made from ebony, mammoth bone, gold, and diamonds. Their sizes are impressive, and their forms graceful. Like small sculptures, they sit comfortably on your skin, smoothly following the lines of the body. These rings, bracelets, amulets, and earrings all have a striking individuality and the unmistakable identity of two generations of Ghiso.
Precious types of wood bring with them the aroma of antiquity: black, macassar and snakewood, figured maple, boxwood, and coconut palm. Various metals reflect and refract the light, whether silver, white gold, polished or Damascus steel made by ancient handcraft. Besides the materials mentioned, the items also use mother-of-pearl, walrus ivory, buffalo bone, and even fossilized mammoth tusks.

All of this splendor—dominoes, golf clubs, and champagne cases—exudes a certain snobbery, but they are indeed intended for a select circle of clients: connoisseurs of exclusive, high-class, refined luxury items. Ghiso's cult objects ideally meet the demands primarily of the educated collector, but also of those who seek to surround themselves with things that emit a magical aura and mystery—one that you and your descendants will have time to solve.
