An early 19th century Russian metalwares silver two handled tray, maker's mark not traced (FN Cyrillic), assayed by Mikhail Mikhailovich Karpinsky, Moscow 1823, 84 zolotniki mark for 875/1000 standard silver, of oval form, symmetrically pierced gallery and gadrooned rim, two rectangular cut out handles with decorative border, 55 x 35cm over the handles, 54.6ozt.
