A large Russian traditional hand embossed gilt silver kovsh of a characteristic form featuring an oval shaped bowl with a pronounced front and a massive handle. The exterior of the kovsh is enameled with multicolor figural and geometrical patterns manufactured using the cloisonne technique. The bowl is gold washed inside.
