A Russian silver and cloisonné enamel purse, circa 1880, rectangular body with rounded corners, both sides adorned with cloisonné enamel of floral design, featuring intricate wirework of opaque white and different shades of blue, translucent red and purple, within a navy blue border, with a push-in thumbpiece that opens to reveal compartments lined with navy moire. The purse is marked on both sides with the maker's mark for Ivan Saltykov and the zolotnik standard 84
