19th century Russian silver cigarette case with blackening and gold interior decoration. The cigarette case is designed in the shape of an arch on a city square and is adorned with the initials "NA" and the name Ivan Vasilievich Avdeev. It also bears a silver mark of 84 fineness and the maker's mark in the form of Saint George (Cyrillic AC). The dimensions of the case are approximately 5-1/8 inches in length, 3-1/8 inches in width, and 1 inch in height.
