Description

On an oval, nature-themed socle adorned with floral vines, there is a fully plastic, scenic representation of a Rottweiler placed among three dogs. The polychrome painting is embellished with a touch of gold. It is possibly the work of Johann Joachim Kaendler from 1758, model number 2693. The piece has been restored and bears the crossed sword mark. It measures 17.5 cm in height and 22 cm in length. Compare with Pietzsch, Porcelain Parforce, catalogue number 26. This early 20th-century porcelain figure group depicts a hunting scene. It has been restored and bears the crossed sword marks. Made in Meissen at the beginning of the 20th century.
