
Silver, partially gilded. Conical body with three displayed ball feet. Smooth, with a narrow profiled edge set off by a narrow lip rim. Wall surrounded by seven rows of offset arranged, driven and relief sculpted scale decoration. Gilded on the inside. Created by the esteemed master Hieronymus Peller/Beller (became a master in 1662). Weighs approximately 80 grams. Height is 7.5 cm. Compare with catalogue Germanisches Nationalmuseum, Vol. I, Part 1, MZ 634, BZ 23. A Nuremberg footed parcel-gilt silver beaker with fish-scale decoration by Hieronymus Peller/Beller (master since 1662). Gilt inside. Tested, assayed, and marked by the master. German.
