Art Nouveau cloisonne enamel Russian silver creamer and sugar...

Art Nouveau cloisonne enamel Russian silver creamer and sugar bowl. Moscow, 1894. Conical shapes, decorated with polychrome enamel ornaments. Spectacular handles of flowering shoots form a dynamic and recognizable silhouette of Art Nouveau. The sugar bowl has a flat lid in matching decor. On the handle there is an MS stamp in an oval, presumably by the workshop of Maria Semenova, a city stamp and a double-headed eagle. Assay master: Alexander Aleksee
