A Russian niello 84 Silver cigarette case with a hinged lid. The case is decorated with a nielloed and engraved medallion in the center depicting a scene with a trio of horses racing surrounded by floral and foliage motifs. The borders feature a nielloed traditional Greek ornament. The backside is decorated with nielloed and engraved foliage and floral patterns. It has a gilt wash interior. Marked with a standard Russian Silver hallmark and other Cyrillic and Assay marks inside.
