The knife blades are made of silver-plated steel, with porcelain handles glazed in white and hand-painted décor in green and pale pink. The cartouches feature the tsarist crown and "AM" beneath it, representing Tsar Alexander II and Maria Feodorovna. The length of the knives is 22.6 cm.
