As a Jacob's shell, this plate is designed with a lightly deepened form and a ribbed edge. The underglaze blue glaze is cracked in irregular veins on a white ground. In the mirror, there is a floral relief gold decoration with a central bouquet of flowers on a lattice work connected by curved, fine lines. There is a gold decorative border and decorative painter's marks for Paul Hermann Makowitz (since 1891 at KPM Berlin). Minimum condition; scepter and painter's mark. 21 cm x 20.5 cm.
