






Silver tumbler goblet. Designer: Karlheinz Sauer. Sweden, Västerås, 1985, workshop of Karlheinz Sauer (registered in 1968). Karlheinz Sauer, born in 1943, is a renowned jeweler known for creating unique, handcrafted pieces in the style of Scandinavian modernism. He has participated in and won many prestigious competitions and exhibitions. The goblet measures 6 cm in height, with a top diameter of 8.5 cm, volume: 230 ml, and weighs 173 grams of 925 sterling silver.
Karlheinz Sauer is passionate about craftsmanship and utilizing silver. Over the years, he has created a variety of pitchers and candlesticks for both everyday use and celebrations. Sauer has also crafted sacred silver pieces for nearly all the churches in Västerås and its surroundings, as well as many other churches in Sweden. He resides and works in Mörbylånga, Sweden, and studied at Pforzheim Goldsmith School and Pforzheim Art and Trade School. His works are included in collections such as the Nationalmuseum in Stockholm, the Röhsska Museum in Gothenburg, and Västerås Art Museum.
