Great Baroque goblet
Description
Silver, partly gilded. Conical shape with a slightly protruding, narrow profiled rim. The relief sculptural depiction of a woodland landscape with an announcing angel, crowned Mary, and a female figure with a martyr's palm is running around the wall. Gilded inside. Created by a master, not yet identified, with the initials "B C G" in a heart shape. Weighs approximately 160 grams. Height is 10.5 cm. A large, probably South German Baroque silver beaker.
