A fully silver spatula made by the Bolin factory. Some names are eternally inscribed in the history of Russian jewelry art, and Carl Bolin is one of them. The "Bolin" firm holds a special place in Russian jewelry history, founded at the end of the 18th century in St. Petersburg. From 1839, Carl Eduard Bolin was a court jeweler; in 1851, an appraiser for the Cabinet; and in 1862, he was granted the title of hereditary honorary citizen.

This is a unique, museum-quality piece! Created at a very high artistic level, richly decorated with garlands, pearl flowers, and holly leaves. Condition: excellent! A true masterpiece!

Assay mark “Woman's head in kokoshnik facing right” in an oval shield = certifies the item was made and assayed in Russia from 1908 to 1917. The Greek letter “Delta” accompanying the assay mark in a single contour = indicates the item was assayed by the Moscow Assay District, including the Nizhny Novgorod and Tula provincial assay offices. Assay mark “Woman's head in kokoshnik facing left” = certifies the item was made in Russia from 1899 to 1908. “84” hallmark = zolotnik standard, certifying the item is made of high-grade silver. “BOLIN” hallmark = factory trademark of the Bolin firm.
