Description

Silver. Multiple profiled foot over square plinth, surrounded by gadrooned frieze, weighted. Conical baluster shaft, adorned with relief sculpted acanthus leaf wreaths and gadrooned band, ending in a tall, vase-shaped tulip. Slightly recessed, removable drip tray adorned with a wide, rose-bordered rim. Signed, tremolier stroke, assay mark, assay master B.G.F. Andreack (1819-1842), master Johann George Wilhelm Heinicke (became master in 1816). Total weight approximately 805 g. Height 23 cm. See Schefler, Berlin, No. 14, 18, 324.
