Master's mark Ivan Petrov Zhilin was born in 1750 and died in 1812. The initials "IZH" of this master are depicted on the mark, with the letter "Zh" written in Old Slavic language. He was a master in silver and ink work from 1770 to 1812. He served as the first craftsman head in the reorganized silver workshop in 1790 and was re-elected as a craftsman head in 1805. He had 2 workers and was one of the most prominent masters of his time. The objects made by this master include a cup with a saucer, needle cases, boxes, snuffboxes, GIM, GOP, ERO marks, a cross, VOKM mark, MGAHK cross, spoon, and NGM mark (from 1782 to 1796).
