Description

With silver mounting. Trumpet-shaped, profiled, and surrounded by short gadroons, transitioning into an ovoid body made of polished, colorless crystal glass. The surface is adorned with relief sculpted, softly shaped, vertically and horizontally arranged fish bladder decor. Correspondingly designed, tailored, silver-mounted and -cased neck, surrounded by juxtaposed fish bladders. Short console spout with spout cover. Hinged, hood-like domed lid crowned by a tall, pinecone-shaped baluster finial. High-set, conical ear handle. Handle, lid, and finial also adorned with partially twisted gadrooned lines. Mounting gilded on the inside. Marked 84, assay mark, date, maker's mark in Cyrillic with imperial warrant. Scratched inventory number "6652". Height 30 cm.
