Silver. Over oval stand birnformiger body, umlaufend relief plastisch gegliedert durch vertikale, reliefplastische Züge. Aufgewolbter, profilierte Scharnierdeckel mit silbermontiertem Balusterknauf. Mittig angesetzter Konsolausguss. Volutenhenkel aus ebonisiertem Holz. Gest., Tremolierstrich, 12 Lot, Jahresbuchstabe "A", Meister Silvester Wolgemuth (wird Meister 1728). Gew. ca. 765 g. H. 25 cm. Silver. Above an oval stand, a pear-shaped body, artistically articulated by vertical, relief-like features. The arched, profiled hinged lid is adorned with a silver-mounted baluster knob. The console spout is centrally attached. The volute handles are made of ebonized wood. Marked with the master's signature, tremolo stroke, 12 lot, and the year letter "A", indicating the craftsmanship of Silvester Wolgemuth (who became a master in 1728). This is a rare example of a North German Baroque silver pot crafted by Silvester Wolgemuth, a highly skilled master silversmith.
