Description

Silver. Over trumpet-shaped ascending round stand, baluster-shaped, facetted and crowned by a fully plastic stylized volute. Attached to it are two levels of deep-molded offering dishes of different sizes. Rim and wall articulated by twisted, gracefully curved lines. Signed, marked, master Elias II Jäger (became master in 1709). Weight approximately 300 g. Height 13 cm. Compare with Seling, 2007, No. 2019, BZ 1960. A small German Baroque silver etagere by Elias II Jäger (master since 1709). Assay and maker's mark. German. Augsburg. 1745-1747.
