The porcelain manufactory was founded in 1904 in the vicinity of Tettau.
Hans Pülz is the first leader of the plant.Under his leadership, success surpassed all expectations and in 1913 125 people were already working.A company specializing in the production of statuettes (including a huge number of lamers) and animalism also produced a wide range of other items, such as the foundations of lamps, vases, ashtrays, etc. Products were exported to the United States and England.

In 1930, 160 people work in the production. Karl Preissler and Fritz Gerold were responsible for improving and investments to ensure the future manufactory.Their point of view was not always shared by other shareholders and more than once they had to protect their ideas of a modern enterprise.
